GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
All Sand Mountain Park fitness classes are for people of all ages and abilities and classes can be modified for all experience levels.

AQUAFIT
Shallow water aerobic exercise class performed with water buoys, pool noodles, kickboards, and/or body weight resistance.
What to wear? Swimsuit, water shoes *optional.
LES MILLS BODY PUMP
BODYPUMP is a total body strength workout that will shape and tone all major muscle groups, increase core strength, improve bone health and leave you feeling strong and fit. Burn up to 400 calories per hour.
SPIN
Low impact, high intensity indoor cycling class. Let the music motivate you to workout while having fun in a small group setting.
ACTIVE AGERS COGNITIVE TRAINING
Low impact fitness class that focuses on balance, strength, range of motion, and cognitive
activities to promote longevity and better quality of life.
PILATES
Movements using bodyweight to strengthen your abs, back, and glutes.
POWER WAVES
Shallow water fitness class for all abilities.
YOGA
The word yoga means to ‘yoke’ or ‘unite’; the practice aims to create a union between mind and body.
LES MILLS RPM
RPM = Raw Power in Motion. An indoor cycling class where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low-impact, and you can burn up to 500 calories in one session.
DANCE FITNESS
A people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning.
