The Adult Leagues
Our adult sports leagues create new memories just like those for kids. Sand Mountain Park leagues inspire lasting friendships, improve mental & physical health, and allow adults to continue playing the sports they loved as a child. Recreation leagues provide an awesome playing atmosphere with organized structure – all played in our state-of-the-art park. Check out our wide variety of adult leagues in Albertville we offer below.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
ADULT SOFTBALL
All games will be played on Sand Mountain’s synthetic turf diamond fields with LED lights and scoreboards. Our adult leagues are sanctioned through World Softball League. We will also offer batting cage rentals and field rentals as well for practice. We will offer one of the best softball facilities in this region backed with excellent customer service!
ADULT BASKETBALL
All games will be played on our brand-new hardwood courts with LED lights and scoreboards in our indoor Fitness Center. Our adult basketball league is sanctioned through Alabama Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA). We will also offer open gym sessions and court rentals.
MIRACLE LEAGUE
Non-competitive recreational league for people of all ages and abilities. Ages 5-99. Miracle League provides individuals with disabilities, of all levels, the opportunity to play baseball. Every person deserves to put on a uniform. Our 15U league is for players aged 5-15.* Our 16U league is for players aged 16 and up. Looking to help out and get involved? Join our buddy program.
*Age division placement is up to the discretion of the players, parents. care-givers, and Miracle League of Albertville staff to ensure, regardless of age, that everyone is playing in the division most suitable to them.
ADULT SOCCER
Games consist of two 45-minute halves. This adult soccer league is sanctioned through Alabama Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA). All games will be played on SMPA’s full-size outdoor turf fields with LED lights and scoreboards.
ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL
All games will be played on our outdoor turf fields with LED lights and scoreboards. Our adult flag football league is sanctioned through Alabama Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA). Our fields are lined for football with end-zones and yard marker lines.
ADULT VOLLEYBALL
Recreation league and/or open gym play that provides an awesome playing environment and an organized structure. All games will be played on SMPA’s brand-new hardwood courts with LED lights and scoreboards. Ages 18+. We will also offer open gym sessions and court rentals. Open gym sessions are included in our Family/Individual Premier and Family/Individual Championship membership packages. We will offer one of the best volleyball facilities in this region backed with excellent customer service!
ADULT ULTIMATE FRISBEE
SMPA is excited to offer Ultimate Frisbee, a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc that combines the non-stop movement of soccer with the passing of football. We will start by offering open play sessions, and then create a league if there is enough interest. All sessions will be played on brand-new full-size outdoor turf fields with LED lights. SMPA staff will help facilitate game play and explain rules. Ages 18+.
