DECEMBER GROUP FITNESS CHALLENGE - 12 Days of Christmas

On the 1st day of Christmas SMPA gave to me!

7.TRX Rows 
8.Heavy bag kicks per leg 
9.Bench Press
10.Bodyweight Squats
11.Barbell Bicep Curl
12.Hanging Knee Raises 

The challenge will be to complete a workout with the theme of the song “12 Days of Christmas.”  The workout can be completed in one workout session but will be encouraged to complete as many times in the month of December as desired!

All Sand Mountain Park fitness classes are for people of all ages and abilities and classes can be modified for all experience levels.

AQUAFIT

Low-impact shallow water aerobics.

LES MILLS BODY PUMP

 A barbell-based workout that’s specifically designed to help you get learn, toned, and fit. 

CARDIO & CORE

A full-body workout that gets your heart pumping and muscles moving combined with a challenging mix of intense and dynamic core stabilizing exercises.

CIRCUIT BLAST

A total body interval workout that will burn a lot of calories in a short period of time.

LES MILLS GRIT

30-minute high-intensity interval training workout designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness, and build lean muscle.

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training that combines bodyweight training, strength, and cardio.

DANCE FITNESS

A people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning.

PILATES

Movements using bodyweight to strengthen your abs, back, and glutes.

POWER WAVES

An intense aqua workout with interval training to improve overall fitness.

LES MILLS RPM

RPM = Raw Power in Motion. An indoor cycling class where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low-impact, and you can burn up to 500 calories in one session.

SPIN

Indoor cycling class combining a foundation of cycling movements to create a low impact, high calorie burning workout. 

SYNERGY 360

A multi-training system for strength, HIIT, core, power, and recovery.

YOGA

The word yoga means to ‘yoke’ or ‘unite’; the practice aims to create a union between mind and body. 

5K TRAINING

A beginner walking/running class with the goal to jog a 5K upon completion on March 6, 2021.

RUN GROUP 5K/10K TRAINING

Instructor-led group runs designed for beginners or those looking to increase their mileage. Pick a distance between 2-4 miles and run with friends!

STRONG SENIORS

Low-impact exercise class helping to improve strength, promote cardiovascular endurance and increase range of motion.
